WWE icon John Cena officially announces his retirement

WWE icon John Cena has officially announced his retirement after decades of top-notch entertainment.

The wrestler known for his loud energy in the ring and on the screen made the announcement that has left fans worried.

According to him, the retirement will be scheduled to commence in December 2025 as he is keen on engaging in the last WWE fight of his life.

During Money in the Bank event last night, the icon who is adored for his humor detailed the decision while also expressing his view and gratifying the fans.

“Tonight, I officially announce my retirement from the WWE”

“What an incredible gesture of kindness,” he said

Cena also gratified WWE fans for “letting me play in the house that you built for so many years.”

Since debuting in 2001, John Cena embodied his role in WWE in dominance for 18 years, attaining 16 WWE titles. If he triumphs over his farewell match, he will become the most decorated icon of WWE.
