Award-winning Afrobeat superstar, Davido has thrilled his fans with the announcement of the release date of his long-anticipated fifth studio album tag 5ive, which is scheduled to drop on April 18. While fans anticipate the album, the self-acclaimed 001 of the Nigerian music industry has deemed it appropriate to dish out a snippet for them.
The “Unavailable” crooner disclosed that his latest single “Be There Still” will be dropping on March 14.
Davido took to his official social media handle to share the update through a pre-saved link, he wrote:
“001 family! Some updates for you: ‘Be There Still’ drops March 14th, with 5IVE coming soon after. The wait is almost over, the process is almost finished and it’s all leading up to something special”.
‘Be There Still” is set to be the last single he’ll release before dropping the full album, fans are urged to pre-save it now.
Following a bustling start to 2025, Davido has clinched his fifth Grammy nomination for Best African Song Performance, thanks to his collaboration on Chris Brown’s track “Sensational.”
