Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid, a famous Nigerian singer-songwriter and owner of Starboy Entertainment has said every young artist deserves to win.
Wizkid stated this while responding to a question asked by one of his fans on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday morning.
According to the singer who was asked which upcoming artist he vibes to lately, he loves every young creative putting in hardwork in their craft adding that they all deserve to receive their flowers.
He wrote, “Love everyone putting out dope shit! They all deserve to win!”
Wizkid seems to have made it a good start for the week as fans woke up to him active on the social media space, particularly X on Monday morning, responding to their posts, questions and reposting some of their tributes to him.
The singer also shared several viral video clips of the trending Nigerian preacher, Odumeje who has in recent time, transited to become an actor cum singer, creating content for comic relief to thousands of his social media followers.
Sharing several of Odumeje’s videos, Wizkid expressed admiration for the preacher.
Away from Odumeje, Wizkid had in another post, said that he does not chat with any artist signed to an influencer.
This caused a buzz on the social media space as the singer stated this while responding to a fan who notified him that Mavin signee, Ladipoe had made some unholy comments about him yesterday.
While the credibility of the claim that Ladipoe spoke against Wizkid has not been confirmed, Big Wiz as he is otherwise called, did not hesitate to show a piece of his “bad mouth” as he swiftly responded saying that he does not chat with an influencer’s signee.
This however suggests a stray bullet at Don Jazzy who is the head of the Mavins record label to which Ladipoe is signed.
Quoting their words, the tweep identified as @Priest had posted, “Wizkid Ladipo still talk nonsense yesterday o, Abeg enter that one too.”
Responding, Wizkid wrote, “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”
Reacting to Wiz’s jab at the music executive and his signee, another tweep, @Lekan_Lebron wrote, “Child wey dem no teach for house, we go send am back to him papa. Na wetin Wiz do Ladipo and Jazzy be that.”
