According to Chart Data, Drake will be matching the record of 14 chart-topping Billboard 200 albums held by Pop music megastar Taylor Swift and hip hop super icon Jay-Z for most #1 albums.

This incredible and super amazing feat will also mean that the Canadian music prodigy is just five NO. 1 albums behind the record of 19 chart-topping albums clinched by The Beatles.

Drake is releasing his first album after his fallout with his fellow iconic superstar Kendrick Lamar which stemmed from the hit record ‘Not Like Us’ and has become an apple of discord among the duo, leading to a lawsuit against Univeral Music Group.

Drake petitioned the Univeral Music Group which he is signed to; he alleged that the record label failed to stop the release of a song that contained injurious falsehoods about himself.

He also accused the label of manipulating the Spotify streams of the song and making it go more viral, thereby causing more injury to his persona.

2025 is seemingly poised to be a very favourable year for the Canadian music icon as he recently emerged as the highest-selling rapper of 2024, according to IFPI. Additionally, Drake stands as the second best-selling artist of the year, following Taylor Swift, who has claimed the top spot for the third consecutive year and the fifth time overall.
