After A$AP Rocky was acquitted of two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm related to a 2021 shooting incident involving a former friend in Los Angeles, he received heartfelt congratulations from family, fans, and fellow rappers.
The rapper swiftly flung himself onto his wife and mother of his children, Rihanna as soon as he was exonerated in the courtroom. Rihanna being overwhelmed with intense joy took to her Instagram handle to share her gratitude.
She wrote on her verified social media handle, “The Glory belongs to God and God alone,” followed by “Thankful, humbled by his mercy!”.
Similarly, Fellow singers such as Kanye West and 50 Cent also reacted to his “Not Guilty Verdict”
Kanye West took to his official Instagram page to acknowledge and celebrate A$AP Rocky’s freedom. He posted a photo of A$AP Rocky on his Instagram with a prayer hand emoji.
Even without altering a word, West’s post says a lot as the post appears to be the only post on his Instagram at the moment since he cleared his X and Instagram profiles following his recent conflict with Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
Kanye West has reportedly been very supportive of A$AP since the felony case began, reports revealed he even had to spend the night at the rapper’s house on the 31 of January.
50 Cent also weighed in on A$AP Rocky’s victory and claimed he predicted it. He wrote; “Not Guilty I told 🥷🏾’s I would bet 500,000 K he gonna beat it,” 50 wrote on Instagram. He alleged that A$AP Relli lied on the stand, and effectively doomed his chances of a conviction, which sounds like a subtle troll.
