Famous Nigerian female singer and Mavins signee Ayra Starr, receives another round of applause as her recent viral single “Commas” continues to make significant strides across the globe.
According to reports, the hit single on Wednesday, May 1st 2024, debutted at number 77 on Netherlands daily Spotify chart.
Ayra Starr first entered Spotify’s daily top artists global chart for the first time in April at number 183.
This indicates a quantum leap from the position the singer held on the chart just the previous day especially as sources revealed that the hit single was 14 places away from it’s current position.
This however, does not come as a surprise as the singer has over the years, solidified her name on the sands of time in the music industry in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
Recall that the song “Commas” by Ayra Starr had previously debutted on the number one spot on Apple Music’s Top 100 Nigerian songs few days after it’s release and had also performed well on the several other charts in a number of other African countries including Zambia and South Africa amongst others.
The song has till date, also remained the favourite for many music lovers in the country and beyond thereby, taking it’s place as one of Ayra Starr’s biggest releases since her debut in 2022.
The singer has reportedly now spent a total of 77 days on the chart.
