The legendary Hollywood actor Gene Hackman alongside his wife and dog was found dead in their New Mexico home on Wednesday morning, ABC reports.
According to the media outlet, Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer, Denise Avila confirmed the news saying that they were found dead by one of their neighbour who decided to check on their welfare in the early hours of Wednesday.
Officials who came to the scene could not figure out what had led to their sudden demise, meanwhile, no foul play was recognized at the scene. However, a thorough investigation is currently ongoing to ascertain the cause of their death.
The Academy Award-winning actor, known for his roles in “The French Connection,” “The Conversation,” and “The Royal Tenenbaums,” passed away at the age of 95, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable performances in countless Hollywood classics.
